The Bloom Forum Project – Week 11/52 of 2011 – Morning | Dayton Maryland Photography

Mar
27

This week is one of my favorite themes, morning. Our group from The Bloom Forum has some wonderful images to share this week.

One of the perks of moving to this interim house is new scenery to shoot. These beautiful morning-sun-drenched buds is a hopeful sign that spring is to come.

I also love the wildlife that I can get glimpses of while having our breakfast.

I was very lucky to spend my morning with this beautiful family. This little guy had the most wonderful hair and was dressed like he belonged in GQ. He gave me some really great looks and some smiles too. Thanks for letting me document your new little one.

The Bloom Forum Project – Week 10/52 of 2011 – Alone/Quiet | Central Maryland Photography

20

Its another week and another theme for our 52 week project on The Bloom Forum.

My son has a love affair with all things books. He can’t get enough of his alone and quiet reading time each night before he goes to sleep. I lost count two years ago at the number of books he has read. I was also amazed how quickly he paged through the Harry Potter books. Mystery and spy books are his favorite but he also love themes on geography and weather. I am super proud of his love for books and I know that’s something he gets from his Mama.

The Bloom Forum Project – Week 9/52 of 2011 – Old | Central Maryland Photography

Mar

We are onto week 9 on my Bloom Forum 52 Week project. This week the theme is Old. I was stumped all week for something exciting to share. But I couldn’t come up with a great idea so I decided to look around this really old rental house of mine and decided brave the gross basement and get a shot of the old crumbling stairs and door. I was able to stick the camera into the hole in the basement floor for the full effect. :)

Then I walked outside and looked at the beautiful old and huge tree that is part of this very nice wooded lot that surrounds this old house. Unfortunately, I don’t know enough about trees in the winter to even guess what kind it is but its really beautiful. If anyone has any guesses, I would love to hear them. :)

The Bloom Forum Project – Week 8/52 of 2011 – Connection/Embrace | Dayton Maryland Photography

This week on my Bloom Forum 52 week project is Connection/Embrace. This coincided with special week for our family. My daughter turned 6 years old!

Up first when they get picked up from school are hugs from a little sister.

Then we were off to her special birthday dinner with our whole family who came to celebrate with her. She chose the Japanese Steak house because “everyone has to go to the steak house for their birthdays and they have the best cake”. Now I am not certain which cake is the best but she did get a great slice of cheesecake and a candle. While there she got hugs from both of her uncles and both of her grandmas.

Birthday Hugs

And I must post this face on her special day because I am having trouble with how grown up she looks this week. My gorgeous, growing up, girlie. Happy Birthday to my sweet daughter.
