The little girl was over tired as we kept her past her bedtime to go to the pack meeting for cub scouts Friday night.  The activity was for all of the boys to make tons of paper airplanes and fly them over the tables to see who can get the most.  The girls wanted to make some airplanes also but didn’t estimate the fury of many young boys and their wanting to keep the fun to themselves.  After this girlie made her airplane and it was snatched by one of the boy participants she went into full tantrum mode.  Unable to ascertain what exactly she wanted us to do next, daddy tried to step in and see if he could make sense of her toddler-speak.  Needless to say, it didn’t work.

Week 12/52 - Consoling

Spring is here, spring is here. Finally we get some nice warm weather on the first weekend of Spring. We spendtthe day playing outside and enjoying the sun after what seemed like an eternity of a winter. The last of the snow is gone and our flowers are starting to bloom. What a great way to welcome the new season.

Week 11/52 - Warm

Our cub scout pack finally got to run our Pinewood Derby after being delayed two times due to our crazy snow storms.  Needless to say, my son was quite anxious to run his car so that he could then play with it after the race was over.  When arriving to the race I made him pose with his first masterpiece, which he named “Fire Away”.  And it lived up to its name.

And just for fun, here are a few more shots from the big day.

Check out the red hot-rot making tracks.  He did super well taking #2 in his den and #3 overall in the pack.  We are very proud of him and he also was a great sport and had tons of fun.

This is what 5 looks like. :)

And this:

E Two

My big girlie. Lost a tooth this week and was registered for kindergarten. It seems like it was just yesterday when the midwife told me it was a girl and I had to make them take off her diaper to prove it to me because there were zero girls in my hubby’s family. She came into this world strong and feisty and she lives up to that rep.

Happy birthday to my beautiful blue-eyed bundle of joy!
