My first. He starts third grade this month. Wow, how did that happen? He looks so mature.
I so love his freckles and his laugh.

My youngest is quite a feisty girl. She gave me a run for my money this past weekend. Three is such a tough age where she tries so hard to do it all herself without admitting she still needs her mommy. Most of the time she runs from the camera and often I get this cheesy face.
So most of the time I resort to shooting when she doesn’t notice me, which is pretty hard these days.
For the Fourth of July we had a great time at one of our favorite campgrounds. My son picked this location since this weekend falls really close to his birthday. We had a great time playing in the pool and on the water slides. Then, as a good Forth of July evening, the kids took turns playing with sparklers before the real fireworks display. I, of course, had a great time playing with my camera.
The kids really had a great time and no one was hurt in the making of these photos.
I admit I am getting this post up a bit late but I have an excuse as I was traveling last week with my husband on a business trip. I bet you can’t tell where we went:
This was taken at the sky bar at Mandalay Bay where the conference was being held. Beautiful view.
While we were there we had the opportunity to see some great entertainment. The last night we were in Vegas we attended a customer appreciation concert with some great Legends acts including this awesome cover band called Ultrasonic Rock Orchestra. I was only a few away from the stage with an awesome view and had a real blast getting some shots of them.

And they ended with an amazing live Bohemian Rhapsody. Spectacular.
Then the spotlight of the concert was Smash Mouth. They were super fun and rocked the house.
Yes I admit I over achieved this week posting a ton of photos. I was having too much fun being up close with my camera.
Its HOT, finally. The hot and humid weather has finally started. This weekend was a scorcher in the 90s. We were invited to a birthday party for a friend of my 3 year old at the local park. Its a beautiful park with an awesome playground but the heat kept us in the pavillion eating watermelon.
Until the kids found the water spritzer. Ahhh…nice and cool with the warm breeze.
I am certainty not complaining as I love summer and have been quite cold this spring.
